Terrence Brewer Trio with special guest Dmitri Matheny

Winner of the SF Weekly award for Best Jazz Artist, guitarist Terrence Brewer is “a melodic improviser with an exquisite tone and abundance of soul” (JazzTimes). A veteran of the San Francisco, Russian River and Monterey jazz festivals, Brewer has topped the jazz radio charts nationally.

Guest flugelhornist Dmitri Matheny, an honors graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and the Berklee College of Music, was introduced to audiences in the 1990s as the protégé of Art Farmer. Matheny has matured into “one of the jazz world’s most talented horn players” (SF Chronicle), touring internationally and releasing nine critically acclaimed CDs
