Red Poppy Art House presents Tango No. 9 in Tango for the Heart, the romance and heat of tango on a cold winter evening, Saturday December 15 at 8 pm. Escape the chill of winter and come bask in the warm embrace of Tango No. 9. Presenting music old and new, Tango No. 9 embarks on an exciting musical adventure, borrowing from the rich tango tapestry, beginning with the tango nuevo of Astor Piazzolla, turning to the romance and tragedy of classic tango, adding a touch of Kurt Weill, a dash of humor and a pinch of West Coast modernism.
What better way to spend the last Saturday before the winter solstice?
