Ridgeway Arts presents vocalist and composer Tammy Scheffer as a featured artist in their National/International program, which brings high-profile artists from around the globe to the Bay Area. The Brooklyn-based Scheffer joins double bassist and vocalist Jeff Denson and special guests for a night of contemporary jazz at the Red Poppy.

Tammy Scheffer has been a creative voice in NYC’s jazz circle for almost a decade. She is the leader of the Tammy Scheffer Sextet, whose album Wake Up, Fall Asleep was released on renowned saxophonist Greg Osby’s label Inner Circle Music. Most recently, she released a new EP with jazz-rock trio Morning Bound, hailed by the Chicago Tribune as “innovative, provocative, and alluring.”
Admission: $20. Doors at 7:00pm. Show at 7:30pm. All ages welcome.
