Full of spontaneity, virtuosity and energy, the Shoestring Trio has crafted a style all their own that’s fun and contagious to music lovers across the globe. A band composed of musical brothers from other mothers, the Trio has taken their music from the streets of Italy to festivals in the South of France. Armed with an arsenal of strings and woodwinds, Shoestring Trio’s “youthful exuberance and consummate musicianship” (Marin Independent Journal) will take you on a musical journey from sunny afternoons in Paris to midnight parties in the Hollywood Hills. In anticipation of recording their second album, they’ve assembled a joyous collection of originals, French classics, and distinctive twists on pop songs.
