Katy Stephan’s musical confections can be quirky as well as rich and heart-rending. They all feature a solid Classical music center, drenched in creamy Jazz harmony and sprinkled with sparkling piano-pop. This evening will include special guest storytellers Kari Kiernan and Linda Robertson and Jazz pianist Adam Shulman, offering a tasty array of treats. You may have sung with Katy at Martuni’s where she helmed the piano for several colorful years, heard her as a soloist with the Oakland East Bay Symphony, or made crafts with her at one of her Lacemaking shows.
