Improvisations, originals, and an exploration of standards unite the four independent viewpoints of tenor saxophonists Jessica Jones, Tony Jones, Peter Apfelbaum, and Howard Wiley. With a deep respect for jazz history and rhythm, and a dedication to finding their own voices, these musicians meet with collective improvisation in its wildest, mercurial incarnation.

Spearheaded by Jessica Jones, this grouping of four strong, creative tenor sax players from Berkeley illustrates the power of unity across diverse voices. A shared love of the saxophone, self-expression and jazz brings this crew together to explore sonic territory inhabited by shared history and imagined landscapes. All products of Berkeley High School, Jessica, Tony and Peter currently live in Brooklyn performing music from around the world. Howard has been a recognized saxophonist/drummer in the Bay Area and beyond since he was 12 years old.
