Local singer/songwriter/guitarists Eileen Torrez, Maya Hall, and Dyllan Hersey present a night of soulful, folky acoustic originals.

Eileen Torrez performs a powerful and unexpected blend of folk-pop and neo-soul. Her music builds on themes of resilience, community, anti-capitalism, and women’s empowerment.
Vocalist Maya Hall, born in Fukuoka, Japan, moved to San Francisco in 2014 in search of bigger musical pastures. The self-taught guitarist/songwriter’s chord progressions, dainty riffs, and interesting rhythms are a perfect match for her silky, sweet vocal style.

Fairfax native Dyllan Hersey released her first full-length album, Dyllan Hersey, in 2012. The Bay Bridged called it “a compelling album with just a single voice and guitar… Her guitar work is more intricate than typical folk-singer strumming, yet avoids taking attention away from the beautiful simplicity of the arrangements.”
