CHELLE! and Friends: Celebrating the Holidays with New Orleans Musical Gumbo

In a lively celebration of the holidays, CHELLE! and Friends commemorates the vibrant music of New Orleans with influences of jazz, funk, soul, gospel, blues, zydeco, and the rhythms of Mardi Gras Indians.
Artistic Director and Founder, Michelle Jacques, is a new New Orleans native and Oakland’s own “Queen of New Orleans Music”. Together with some of the most distinguished musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area, CHELLE! and Friends stirs all of its influences into a diverse stewpot of musical gumbo.
