[DOUBLE BILL] Ben Zaidi and RZN8R: Future Hypnotic Grooves

Seattle-based electronic artist Ben Zaidi (Photo: Riley Corr) creates intimate, plaintive songs in his bedroom studio. He spent several years studying poetry and creative writing at Harvard University before returning to his hometown of Seattle this past year to begin recording and performing full-time. For this performance, his self-produced songs will be brought to the world with the help of Portland jazz prodigy Tree Palmedo.
RZN8R (pronounced “resonator”) is the moniker of Oakland-raised producer/singer Derek Buckwalter. Derek draws from a wide array of influences, fusing his passions for singing, new thought spirituality, and beats to craft deep, lush, hypnotic grooves.
