Modern Hybrid Jazz

Award winning guitarist and composer Alex Pinto seamlessly blends traditions of Hindustani music with modern jazz, creating a hybrid music that is pushing boundaries and creating new soundscapes. Joined by longtime collaborator, Shaun Lowecki on drums, and Kim Cass on bass, The Alex Pinto Trio will be presenting Pinto’s original music that showcases his unique sound and concept. Pinto is an active performer across the Bay Area and is excitedly making his debut at Red Poppy this evening.
