Writer, rhymer and culture warrior, MADlines, combines witty lyrics with off-the-wall rhyme schemes. She’s worked as a poet mentor with Youth Speaks, graduated with her MFA this year, and recently released a mixed tape: Mad Habit. Bay Area singer-songwriter and emcee, Coco Peila, combines empowering lyrics and unique vocal delivery with fun and laughter. She’s currently finishing an audio project called “Pleased To Meet You”. Aisha Fukushima is a singer, educator and ‘RAPtivist’ (rap activist). Her work as leader of a global hip-hop project called ‘RAPtivism’ (rap activism) has been highlighted by Oprah Magazine and TEDxSitka.
